The Grainary Accommodation is also situated in the North York Moors National Park. This is one of the largest expanses of heather moorland in the United Kingdom and is home of The North Yorkshire Moors Railway.
Here you will find a number of small towns and villages, including Pickering, Thornton-le-Dale and Goathland, which is the setting of the popular TV series Heartbeat.
We are also 10 miles away from Dalby forest which includes a nine mile scenic drive with car parks, picnic places, BBQ sites, play areas and the "Go Ape Experience"; an award-winning high wire forest adventure course.
Flamingo Land Zoo and Theme Park is a mere 15 miles away and it is 17 miles to Eden Camp Modern History Theme Museum.
There are a number of Castles and historic properties nearby including, Castle Howard and Rievaulx Abbey.
Further a field, the Grainary Accommodation is only an hours drive from the historic City of York, the site of several major tourist attractions, including York Minster, York Castle Museum, and the National Railway Museum.

We are also 90 minutes away from The Metro Centre in Newcastle, the largest shopping and leisure centre in Europe.
